From 2001 to 2006 I was a member of Information Systems and Sciences (ISS) group at Boston University working with Prof. Janusz Konrad. I graduated in May 2006 and moved to San Francisco to join a very exciting video startup MotionDSP, where I am currently a VP of Engineering. My responsibilities include development of core video processing technology, building company's IP, and supervising our development team (job alert: if you have strong background in image and video processing, exceptional coding skills, and enjoy challenges of a dynamic startup environment, I would be interested in hearing from you).
Recently, I won the 2004-2005 EURASIP Image Communications Best Paper Award for paper co-authored with prof. J. Konrad entitled "Motion analysis in 3D DCT domain and its application to video coding" (Signal Processing: Image Communications, vol. 20, July 2005).
I got my M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in September 2001 from Boston University, and my Dipl.Ing. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia in 2000. For more biographical information, please check my CV.
